Most of us have heard about AI and probably have at least some idea what it’s about (“it’s that ChatGPT thing right?”).
Or you may be worried that with AI in place there will be no need in the future for programmers, testers or—gasp!—business analysts.
Well, fear not! In this presentation you’ll learn more about
- What artificial intelligence really is and what it means
- Who is making use of it AI today and for what
- What the various types of AI are and some of the lingo and terminology used this new world
You will see some practical applications of AI you can use in your daily life- both work and personal- and how AI can help streamline your world.

Mark has been involved in IT for over 25 years in many roles and capacities; as a Business Analyst, Quality Analyst, Project Manager and Program Manager and similar roles. He has worked in various industries such as government, health insurance, healthcare technology, manufacturing and agriculture at companies and agencies such as Cargill, Wells Fargo, Change Healthcare/McKesson Technology, Fairview, BlueCross BlueShield, MNsure, and Ramsey County.

In addition to business analysis and business process modeling, he is (very) passionate about business improvement and change. He leads the Trissential-Expleo Business Analysis Community of Practice and has led training at many clients on various topics along with presenting to groups such as the IIBA.
Mark is currently consulting with the State of Minnesota IT (MNIT) and MNsure to help guide the replacement of their existing healthcare application and eligibility and enrollment systems and improve the health insurance process for Minnesota residents.
