Data Modeling and Analytics is becoming front and foremost in many organizations today. This presentation will touch on "Big Data" and its extension beyond data warehousing, mining and cubing to integrated data, identifying existing patterns and predictive analysis.

Dr. Bob Travica is Associate Professor of information systems. He currently teaches in the I.H. Asper School of Business at The University of Manitoba.
Bob completed Doctoral and Master’s studies in the United States. He has worked as an academic, software entrepreneur and journalist in North America, Latin America, and Europe.
In his research, Bob focuses on big data, organizational evolution with information and communication technologies, the international perspective, and philosophy of information systems. His specialty is building frameworks and models from an interdisciplinary perspective. Bob has published close to forty academic articles and two books, and he is actively engaged in the academic editorship.
