How many times have you seen a project fail or suffer due to incomplete, incoherent or out of date requirements? Don't you want to ensure we have better outcomes and more solid solutions? Well, we are here to help! We will take a look at best practices for planning, eliciting, analyzing and managing requirements throughout the life of a project, or product! What makes a good requirement? Hear tips and tricks from seasoned analysts that have seen projects fail and projects succeed due to the quality of their requirements! 

About Kevin Haines: 
Kevin is passionate about using technology to enable business. He has over 22 years of experience in a variety of industries. Kevin is a Program Director and Principal Consultant for Online Business Systems, President of the IIBA Winnipeg Chapter, College Instructor, a Career Mentor and leads teams that improve process and technology to achieve business goals. Kevin enjoys speaking at industry events such as IIBA Leadership Webinars, Professional Development Days, Building Business Capability and BA World (Winnipeg, Orlando and Toronto). Kevin has degrees in Philosophy, Psychology, Finance and MIS from the Asper School of Business. His certifications include Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Management of Risk, PROSCI Org Change Management and PRINCE2 Practitioner.

About Carla Janzen:
Carla has a passion for creative problem solving and employing elegant solutions to solve complex problems. She has a decade of experience in the tech sector, including 5 years dedicated to small business digital transformation through her own consulting practice. Carla is a Lead Business Analyst and Senior Consultant for Online Business Systems, serves on the IIBA Winnipeg Chapter as Vice President of Sponsorship, coaches for the University of Manitoba Business Technology Management JDC West case competition team, and is a Career Mentor for junior Business Analysts. Carla has a B. Comm. (Hons) degree in Finance and Marketing from the Asper School of Business. Her certifications include Certified Scrum Master (CSM), ProSci Change Management Professional, and PRINCE2 Foundations Practitioner.
