May 22nd - Invasion of the Agile Business Analyst!

Sounds like the start of a great story, right? The most common problem facing Business Analysts in Agile today isn’t the basics – it’s how it all fits together on a typical project. Many companies have figured out they do in fact, need Business Analysts on their projects but how does analysis on an Agile project get started? Once it gets started, how do you plan it? What is a Business Analyst doing while the Dev team is coding? How do you perform the analysis to pull an Agile sprint back from the brink of failure? In this workshop we take you on an Agile project high-speed ride from beginning to end as seen through the eyes of the Business Analyst. Expect twists and turns along the way from planning, user stories, backlogs, acceptance criteria, and all of the other things that Business Analysts need to do in an Agile environment (which could be dozens of techniques).

Learn how a Business Analyst fits into Agile and understand how effective business analysis practices and documentation works with the various Agile ceremonies. Bring your toughest questions and situations! Let’s roll up our sleeves together and work through them in this interactive journey of the Agile Business Analyst invasion!  This workshop simulation will work through an Agile project from beginning to the end. This interactive fast-paced workshop will bring deeper understanding to how Business Analysis is performed together with Agile fundamentals.

• Discover new approaches to techniques to manage business analysis during an Agile project.
• Discover how the approach to analysis will change when working on client facing projects VS back-end technical projects. 

May 23rd - Modern Business Analysis Techniques 

If you struggle with not getting enough information or time from stakeholders to get the job done you may want to rethink the techniques you have been using.  Businesses today are changing rapidly. The same old techniques that you have been using may not be living up to the agility and speed required to succeed in this new dynamic marketplace of change.  You need techniques that will energize your stakeholders, engage them in new ways that bring them to a new level of collaboration!  Whether you live in an Agile or Waterfall world (or somewhere in-between), whether you are Business Analyst, Project Manager, Leader or Subject Matter Expert, this class is right for your you and your organization.  There are well over 300 techniques that can be used on projects to elicit, analyze, make decision and gain consensus, but only a small portion of them are ever taught or are hidden in a book.  This course takes some of the best of the best to help you get extraordinary results!
