IIBA Winnipeg is thrilled to announce that we will be hosting an in-person event with distinguished guest and internationally recognized pioneer in Business Architecture and Business Process - Roger Burlton!
Higher and Wider: Business Architecture for Business Analysts
The profession of Business Analysis is constantly evolving to suit new business challenges. The good news is that as BAs we are used to adapting to new realities and see these as opportunities for us to learn and to make a difference as the organization continues to move forward. A growth opportunity for us is to take our practice higher in the organization and apply it to a wider and more strategic set of issues. To do this you will need to enhance your skills and apply techniques that will help you to seize the opportunity. As BAs we can learn from the practices of Business Architecture. This session will introduce you to some of the competencies you will need to acquire to make the career jump to becoming more trusted and impactful with the business leaders of your organization. In it, Roger Burlton will feature the essentials covered in his book titled ‘Business Architecture: Collecting, Connecting and Correcting the Dots’ (found here on Amazon). It will also address the opportunity to enhance Business Architecture with knowledge management practices and the support of AI.
